Precision is key here! 🎯 Recently, we faced a challenge - aligning a scanned model of a GFRC mold with the original design geometry. Any deviation could lead to costly reworks and delays. So how did we tackle this?! Mold-Specific Reference Points: We began by establishing mold-specific reference points, critical for anchoring our analysis and ensuring that we’re comparing apples to apples. Computational Design Analysis: Using advanced computational tools, we mapped these reference points against the design geometry, creating a detailed heat map. This visualization allowed us to pinpoint deviations with remarkable clarity. Deviation Analysis: We conducted a thorough analysis of any deviations, comparing them to allowable tolerances. This step was crucial in identifying any discrepancies that could affect the final product. Preventive Measures: By identifying potential issues early, we could implement corrective actions to prevent future problems. This approach not only mitigates risks but also enhances our ability to deliver high-quality molds that meet stringent design specifications.
