David joins Jefferies as Senior Advisor to UK & Ireland Investment Banking, bringing a wealth of experience to our clients. His wide-ranging career over five decades has covered many sectors: consumer, retail, business services, financial services and real estate. His executive roles were in financial and general management at Unilever, NatWest, Christie’s and GUS. More recently, he has chaired Sainsbury's, Logica, Hammerson and other companies, and served as a Non-Executive Director at Experian, Burberry, Reckitt Benckiser and Rubix. David currently chairs PZ Cussons, Domestic & General, and the Government-backed Parker Review on ethnic diversity in UK business. Welcome to Team Jefferies!

Congratulations to Dominic Lester, Jefferies Head of Investment Banking in EMEA, on being named to Financial News’ inaugural list of the Most Influential in European Finance. The list represents leaders who are making a mark and helping to shape their respective fields. Lester joined Jefferies in London in 2010 and has since grown the EMEA business significantly and been responsible for securing key deals in the region. Jefferies is pleased to have served as Lead Financial Advisor to STS Aviation Group, a Portfolio Company of Greenbriar Equity Group, on its exit to H.I.G. Capital. This deal will allow STS to enter the next phase of growth as it expands its global presence and enhances its aircraft service offerings. This marquee transaction marks Jefferies’ 73rd deal in the aviation services sector since 2015, further solidifying our position as one of the leading investment banks for aviation services advisory.

On September 26th, employees across our Corporate Division in London volunteered in Idia’s Community Kitchen organized by Matchable, an organization that provides volunteering opportunities to Corporate employees. Idia’s Community Kitchen fights poverty, isolation and food waste. They transform surplus food into hot meals, provide essential groceries, and offer support to the community. Twenty-five Jefferies employees helped with a range of activities including sorting and unpacking donations for the day, preparing meals and serving these meals to the local community. Thank you to all those who took the time to show their commitment to societal well-being and fostering community spirit.

We are pleased to welcome Cui Cui, who joins Jefferies as Head of Healthcare Research, Asia with a focus on the China and Hong Kong markets, based in Hong Kong. Cui Cui will enhance our coverage of the Healthcare sector in the region, bringing her extensive experience; she has consistently been ranked number 1 in the Institutional Investor Asia Survey. Cui Cui will be joined by Chu Wang (Senior Associate) and David Shang (VP) to round out the Healthcare Research team.

We are excited to welcome Jonathan Pierce, who joins Jefferies as Co-Head of European Banks Equity Research. He will expand and enhance our research coverage of European banks. Jonathan brings over 25 years of experience as a UK Banks analyst and previously headed a #1-ranked European Banks research team.
