As a part of our #HometownStrong program, we invested $2 million toward the Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity Hope Springs project. This project will create 491 affordable housing opportunities for the Greeley, CO, community.
The turnout at our Hope Springs Grand Opening on May 30th filled the City of Greeley with immense joy. We are eternally thankful to all our partners, whose collective dedication and support of this groundbreaking project have been instrumental in fulfilling the dreams of over 174 families of achieving homeownership. "We're not going to solve the affordable housing crisis," said Cheri Witt-Brown, CEO of Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity. "But we can certainly start to make movement with projects like this." Hope Springs development demonstrates that we can come together to help build a better community for everyone. Featuring amenities like the JBS Mini Pitch Soccer Field, Oxy Nature Discovery Park, and an Organic Garden managed by the Greeley Morning Garden Club and Community Grows Land Works Organic Community Garden, this development will offer countless opportunities for families to live, grow, and thrive. With its water-wise and cost-effective design, Hope Springs will be a community where we can all take pride. "Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity’s impact is so much more than building homes, they are building healthy, thriving neighborhoods throughout the County. They help Habitat families finance their homes and prepare for future success. I also think the positive economic impact Habitat gives to the community is substantial by reinvesting donor dollars back into the local community. Everything Greeley-Weld Habitat does throughout the process is well thought through and has a generational impact in Weld County." Jeff Carlson, CEO of The Weld Trust Thank you to our amazing partners, sponsors, donors, and community who have helped the dreams of over 250 families come true! You are why we can continue our work and achieve our goal of building pathways out of poverty.
