ICHS hosted an adult mental health training for community health workers on last Tuesday at Highline College. Our talented Community Access Specialists and Patient Navigators were pleased to attend! 👏 Congratulations Grads! 🎓 Please give a round of applause to our 2024 #FamilyMedicine Residency! Dr. Ryan Fang and Dr. Lucia Amore are the sixth cohort to graduate from the three-year #MedicalResidency at ICHS’ International District Clinic in partnership with Swedish Family Medicine Residency at Cherry Hill. These incredible, intelligent, compassionate family physicians have worked closely alongside clinical staff as full spectrum family medicine providers, delivering culturally and linguistically competent care to ICHS patients of all ages and backgrounds for the past three years.    We are so proud of them and they’ve taught us so much about how to model compassionate patient-care in the clinic. Dr. Lucia Amore, originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, served as the family medicine inpatient program lead. She is graduating with a concentration in palliative care and will be joining the Swedish Geriatrics fellowship in July. Dr. Ryan Fang, originally from Federal Way, served as program lead this past year and will be graduating with a concentration in HIV. They will join the UW Palliative Care fellowship in July and will be staying part-time at the ICHS ID clinic and on-call group. We wish you the best on your journeys ahead!  - - - - -  Established in 2016, ICHS partners with Swedish Family Medicine Residency/Cherry Hill Program to provide a clinical site where family medicine residents may train to provide health care to members in a unique community health care setting. Seven of the twelve alumni of the Family Medicine Residency Program have remained with ICHS as primary care providers.
