Yesterday, I had the honor of presenting Community Grant Checks to our teachers and school system. During my visit with Mrs. Mary Beth Brennan, K-5 STEAM Teacher at Pelham Oaks Elementary School in the Pelham City Schools System, funding was provided for two Intelino Smart Train Sets for student use in Pelham Oaks Elementary School and Pelham Ridge Elementary STEM classrooms. It’s a privilege to represent the constituents of Alabama House District 73 and return taxpayers' dollars back to the local community #ThePelhamWay.

Omdat we bij De Programmeerschool sterk geloven in gelijke kansen voor alle leerlingen, bieden we gedurende 16 weken naschoolse lessen aan bij Brede School Overvecht. Een mooie mogelijkheid voor kinderen uit de wijk om samen nieuwe dingen te ontdekken. Deelnemers maken op verschillende leuke manieren kennis met programmeren. Deze week zijn we aan de slag met de Intelino, een programmeerbare treinset. Hierbij staat samenwerking centraal: in groepen bouwen we gezamenlijk een treinbaan en besturen we de Intelino-trein met behulp van Scratch. #Intelino #Scratch #teamwork
