New research by US-based Information Technology and Innovation Foundation indicates that China has become the world's leading proponent of nuclear energy, with Chinese firms well ahead of Western peers due to extensive state financing and coordination, rapidly deploying reactors, leading in advanced technologies like fourth-generation and small modular reactors, and benefiting from a whole-of-government strategy to promote nuclear innovation. Section 230 has survived numerous attempts to weaken its liability shield for online services. But draft legislation introduced by Reps. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Frank Pallone (D-NJ) would sunset #Section230, giving Congress and stakeholders just 18 months to come up with a new legal framework for intermediary liability.
