5 billion deals and counting! 🚀 This September, we hit a major milestone, marking 5 billion completed deals on our global mobility and urban services platform. The 5 billionth deal was sealed in Peru, a fitting moment for a company that started with a bold idea back in 2012—to make ridesharing pricing fairer for both drivers and passengers. Since then, we've expanded beyond ridesharing, growing into a multi-service platform offering city-to-city transport, freight services, courier deliveries, and urban solutions in 46 countries. We recently held a media event for the Alternativa Film Project in Jakarta, celebrating an exciting milestone—over 1,000 submissions this year, nearly double what we received during our first edition last year. Indonesia continues to lead the way in submissions, with strong interest from across Southeast Asia! The 2024 Alternativa Film Project will take place in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, at the end of November featuring film screenings, industry panels, public talks, and our main awards ceremony. The media event was attended by distinguished speakers, including our Head of Alternativa, Liza Surganova, our Communications Manager for Indonesia, Wahyu Ramadhan, as well as the 2024 Film Project Ambassador and a selection committee. We were honored to welcome top media outlets and representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industry. The inDrive and inVision team recently wrapped up an impactful visit to Pakistan, where they participated in a series of important events focused on sustainability and innovation. Highlights included an EV roundtable with top manufacturers, exploring the future of electric vehicles in the country. In a significant meeting with Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, the team discussed collaborative efforts to promote eco-friendly transport solutions. We were honored to receive a token of appreciation from the Climate Ministry, recognizing our commitment to sustainable practices. Earlier this August, we organized a special film screening series in Almaty featuring participants of the Alternativa Film Project, and the response was incredible! Over 1,400 attendees filled the ARTiSHOK Theater, where viewers watched films from the Asian region that were part of last year's awards. Among them were "Bride Kidnapping" (Kyrgyzstan, winner of the Spotlight category), "Baýryna Salu" (Kazakhstan, winner of the Future Voice category), as well as a short film program from Central Asian countries. Additionally, the Alternativa Film Screenings showcased works from participants of the Alternativa Teen Lab, which was held last year in Bishkek, and the documentary film "Inner Drive" about the history of inDrive. But it wasn't just about watching films—each screening sparked meaningful conversations on social issues, with more than 500 people actively participating in discussions led by public figures and experts. The next series of Alternativa Film Screenings is scheduled for late September in Bishkek. Besides the screenings, the project also organizes a creative Development Lab for filmmakers, a youth film lab in Tashkent, and an Impact Lab for producers and directors. We’ve just celebrated our Couriers Champions 2024 event in Pakistan, recognizing top-performing couriers from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad!  From July 19th to August 14th, our couriers delivered excellence, and 18 winners were awarded—9 brand-new motorcycles for the top performers and smartphones for the runners-up. Our Communications Manager, Sidra Kiran, and Muhammad Usman, from the Business Development Team, were there to hand out the awards and show appreciation for their outstanding work.
