The Impact Clay Train is a mobile healthcare caravan comprised of private, public, nonprofit and faith-based organizations dedicated to making healthcare and social services more accessible to residents who otherwise couldn’t access them. There is also a mobile food pantry, hot meals, free haircuts, train rides for the kids, a clothing car, addiction services and much more!

Impact Clay was well represented today at the Clay County Chamber of Commerce’s Bridge to Bridge Luncheon. Understanding the transportation needs and plans are pivotal in preparing Helping Organizations for the future. “At today's Bridge To Bridge Luncheon, Jeff Sheffield, North Florida TPO, CEO shared how the recently approved long-range transportation plan affects businesses and residents in Clay and surrounding counties. Bridge To Bridge is presented by Baptist Medical Center Clay, with corporate sponsorship from Florida Power & Light.”

We are still in need a a couple volunteers to help install blinds and door handle keypads tomorrow.

Our 2025 Impact Clay Train planning meeting today was outstanding. Remarkable results achieved in the first 10 months of our journey. It's important to recognize that volunteer hours reported exclude preparation times preceding each train stop. Our objective is clear: if a single train guest leaves with a practical pathway to enhance their life, we have fulfilled our purpose. Quantitative metrics are valuable, but the true impact of transforming a life cannot always be measured.

Impact Clay Train turns 1 year old! A year ago October 2023, the Impact Clay Train was officially born. Community leaders sat around a conference table with a stationary wooden train centerpiece as they pondered ways to bring help to those who lack dependable transportation. We are exceedingly grateful for the collaborative work that has taken place on our mobile train of care! Great things are coming for 2025 as well!
