Our amazing Proposal team took on a heartfelt initiative this October by “Adopting a Shelter” to support animals in need. They are proudly contributing to Roxie’s Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping abused and homeless animals. The team shared their passion with a "Lunch N Learn" presentation, where they highlighted the importance of donating to causes like Roxie's Fund, tips on becoming an animal foster parent, and ways we can all help through donations. We're so proud of Bonney Lake High School’s Culinary Club, who just won big at the Washington State Chef Association’s Bite of the Apprentice! With guidance from IBSS’ Mark and Lisa Tagal and support from the eeBLUE program, these talented students took farm-to-table to the next level. They crafted an award-winning dish featuring aquaculture ingredients sourced right from local ocean farms. The result? A miso-glazed bite of sablefish served atop a bed of black rice cooked in coconut milk with edamame floating in a pool of bacon dashi that wowed the judges!
