There are currently an estimated 16,000 young people, ages 0-18, within the Ohio foster care system. Hope’s Closet offers a clothing boutique, a suite of foster parent support programs, and activities designed to build a community of support and provide needed resources. The foster care system relies on willing and loving foster parents to care for children who must be removed from their homes for their own safety. Recruiting, retaining, and supporting these critical and selfless volunteers are core goals of Hope’s Closet. We also work to provide foster children with material needs and fun experiences which we hope shows them they are valued and loved by their community. Our Board of Directors plays an important role in fostering brighter futures for the children served by Hope's Closet.
