We’re excited to announce that Healthcare Network has received a generous grant from the CHRIST CHILD SOCIETY OF NAPLES! Thanks to their support, we can help even more families in our community! This grant will allow us to provide 100 Pack ‘N Plays to underserved families, ensuring babies have a safe and comfortable place to sleep. It will also help us create Book Nooks at two of our pediatric practices in Golden Gate and Immokalee, transforming our spaces into welcoming environments where children can discover the joy of reading! We are incredibly grateful to the Christ Child Society for helping us build a healthier, brighter future for the families we serve! #ChristChildSociety #HealthcareNetwork

Healthcare Network, in collaboration with Collier Community Foundation, created health education videos designed to support maternal and child health in our community with topics like hypertension and preeclampsia. Did you know that hypertension and preeclampsia during pregnancy can lead to serious complications for both mother and baby? Monitoring blood pressure and recognizing symptoms early are key to managing these conditions and ensuring a healthy pregnancy. Check out our video and share with mothers and caregivers to spread awareness and educate our community! #HealthcareNetwork #MaternalHealth

At the start of the school year, Healthcare Network launched a school-based clinic at Manatee Middle School as part of an exciting health initiative! With parental permission, students can now receive well-being exams and medical care when they need it—right on campus. This clinic makes it easier for students to access essential healthcare, from routine check-ups to sick visits, helping them stay healthy and focused on learning. Research shows that school-based clinics in low-income communities lead to improved health and better academic performance, making this initiative all the more impactful! We can't wait to see the positive impacts this initiative will have on Manatee Middle School students! A very special thanks to the Naples Children & Education Foundation, founders of the Naples Winter Wine Festival (NCEF) for their incredible support in making this possible! 💙 Read more about it in Naples Daily News: https://lnkd.in/d_hQ-RQQ #HealthcareNetwork #SchoolClinic

Did you know it’s National Community Health Worker Week (CHW)?! Community Health Workers go beyond the clinic walls to break barriers to care in underserved communities. Our Community Outreach Director, Jean Paul Roggiero, puts it best: “CHWs play a vital role in healthcare, including their contributions to reducing health disparities and improving health outcomes, particularly in underserved communities. By celebrating CHW Week, we not only honor these essential workers but also strengthen the support systems that enable them to continue their crucial work.” Please join us in recognizing and appreciating their dedication in the comments! 🙌💙
