Part of why Health Tech Nerds exists is to help get the right folks in the right roles across the industry, by making it easier to learn about and connect with companies in the space. There's not a single best way to do this, so we're always exploring new ways to accomplish this goal and are now considering hosting an HTN Virtual Career Fair! We're working on gauging interest and getting input, to determine whether there's enough companies wanting to get involved to make this valuable, and to cover platform and marketing expenses. If you're responsible for hiring or know someone is and might be interested (clients, portfolio companies, etc.), please feel free to tag them or respond to our survey linked in the comments.

We (and hundreds of other HTN members!) will be at #HLTH24 this year. There's just something about the energy and optimism around healthcare during these conferences that can't be matched. We think it's worth attending the event to experience it for yourself, and you can get $250 off with code h24_Nerds. Link to register in the comments. See you there!

Long-time HTN member Rik Renard shares some insightful thoughts and questions on AI scribes.
The winners in the AI scribe race will be those who nail implementation, integrations, (and marketing?). Fascinating to read that health systems see nearly no difference between different AI scribes. It makes me wonder who will win... Besides pricing, I think they can differentiate on 3 things right now: 1) Implementation: Think white-glove onboarding. The reputation damage for a bad rollout will be huge. 2) Integrations: Needs to seamlessly work with the EHR 3) Marketing: Good marketing is like a great outfit—it gets you noticed. Abridge nailed it with their latest video showcasing their tool. But in the end, the winners will be those who can seamlessly integrate into other workflows like CDS and billing. This means creating strong relationships with EHRs, a team that deeply understands EHR workflows AND can listen to customer needs. What did I miss? And how do you think the AI Scribe space will evolve? Source: Health Tech Nerds
