This award is given to companies that have innovation at the forefront of their business and are disrupting and improving the ways the industry is involved in sustainable energy, climate resilience, environmental and social best practices and innovation, and gender and economic inclusion. Harrison Street has had a formal sustainability initiative since 2013. For over 10 years, we have been committed to integrating Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) practices throughout our business, culture and investments, while remaining true to our financial and fiduciary objectives. Harrison Street hosted another successful Take Your Kids to Work Day at our corporate office in Chicago. This year, the children of Harrison Street employees got to give back by stuffing backpacks for the Chicago Youth Programs, designed their own Harrison Street logo with Legos and learned about the different departments collecting “passport stickers” as they toured the office.   #HarrisonStreet #TakeYourKidsToWorkDay #CompanyCulture

This Scholarship will honor Britt’s legacy as he was an invaluable and irreplaceable part of our team. Currently, constructing and operating buildings contribute an estimated 42% of the world’s carbon emissions. The piece highlights how a growing number of institutions in the United States are ahead of other countries in leveraging the PPP model to meet their long-term student housing, decarbonization, utilities and infrastructure modernization objectives.
