I am pleased to share an exciting update on #sustainability, an important topic in today's business aviation landscape. Last month, Gulfstream Aerospace partnered with NASA, the FAA, the Missouri University of Science and Technology any many others to conduct ground emissions testing of 100% neat sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) containing zero sulfur. The testing took place on an all-new #G700. At Gulfstream, we are innovating for a sustainable future and are proud of our role in advancing this body of research on SAF. Preliminary results from this endeavor are promising and have indicated minimal to no sulfuric fuel contamination, illustrating reduced greenhouse gas production. The results also demonstrated potential for 100% SAF to improve local air quality near airports as well as reducing the formation of condensation trails. Many thanks to our dedicated research partners who joined us for this project. Tests like these help us to better understand fuel properties and their environmental characteristics which is key to driving positive environmental change in business aviation. This week, Gulfstream Aerospace became the first OEM to receive a Starlink STC. Gulfstream G650 and G650ER owners now have a new option for high-speed internet in the sky, as Gulfstream Aerospace received FAA certification to install Starlink connectivity on these jets. The upgrade enables faster, more reliable in-flight internet with speeds up to 220 Mbps and latency under 99 milliseconds, allowing for seamless video calls, cloud access, and data transfers. Gulfstream’s in-house team will handle installations at their facilities, simplifying the process for G650 and G650ER customers. The company is also working toward similar certifications for other models, including the G800, G700, and G500. Stay tuned for further developments.
