Through our partner foundations in Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties, we provide services that help donors maximize their philanthropic giving and support the work of numerous local organizations. Each partner foundation has a volunteer board whose local leaders know the needs and strengths of their individual communities. By leveraging their association with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, these regional foundations can focus their efforts on local grantmaking, while we provide administrative and program support and investment expertise.

Our Greater Together Campaign - which ran from 2017 to 2023 - inspired a transformational level of giving to enhance our entire region. Thanks to the gifts of time, talent, treasure and ties, we raised more than $726 million, including $35.6 million toward five strategic priority areas. Over the next few weeks we'll share the reasons why donors chose to give to this campaign. Stay tuned!

It's an exciting day at the Foundation as we welcome our new president and CEO, Greg Wesley, just the fourth president in our nearly 110-year history! In his first letter to the community, hear from him about the importance of building bridges across different sectors and communities, his commitment to racial equity and the role and potential of the Foundation moving forward. https://lnkd.in/g-EPgtza

Congratulations are in order for Belicia Vazquez, who is concluding her time with us as our community impact and civic engagement fellow. She graduated recently from the Public Allies Milwaukee program, which is what led her to us. We’re incredibly grateful for her commitment to our mission and the talents that she shared with us over the past 10 months. She was involved with our impact investing program, helped us with our move to our new building, among many other projects. We cannot wait to see where her professional journey takes her and we wish her all the best!
