Did you know that 83% of people don’t know about Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), a great tool for philanthropic giving? DAFs are charitable savings accounts with tax advantages that donors can contribute to or donate from as often as they like. By planning donations, people are able to give nearly twice as much to the causes they care about. DAFs can be used to donate to a range of causes – whether you want to give to your local food bank or charity, or to disaster relief like the many nonprofits supporting those impacted by #HurricaneHelene and #HurricaneMilton. The National Hurricane Center says Hurricane #Helene is forecasted to make landfall in Florida today as a catastrophic Category 4 storm.
