Earlier this month, legendary George Washington University gymnastics coach Margie Foster-Cunningham officially announced her retirement. With 39 seasons under her belt, Foster-Cunningham became GW's longest tenured head coach in history. "For almost forty years and in five different decades I've had the honor of coaching some of the most remarkable women on Earth. That's not a job; it's a blessing,” said Foster-Cunningham. Helgert joined GW Engineering Dean John Lach in a signing ceremony to establish the Helgert Family Endowed Fellowship in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).
