In June, we celebrated the ground-breaking ceremony for our new production facility in the Aachen region, Germany, to expand our drug/ device business. Hemoteq AG announced plans to create over 150 new jobs. Now we have welcomed our first employee for our new facility! Norman Ungermann joins the product development team under the leadership of Anissa Schmitz. The investment of over USD 50 million in the new site will triple our production footprint for drug and hydrophilic coatings for medical devices to meet the increasing global demand. Welcome to Team Norman and all the best to our dedicated team in Aachen! 

Our 175th anniversary celebrations continue across all our facilities! Our North American sites in Beverly, Massachusetts; Minnetonka, Minnesota; and both of our California locations in Carpinteria and Baldwin Park recently joined in the festivities. These events highlighted our shared commitment at Freudenberg Group to making the world cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable for countless people.  Freudenberg started with humble beginnings in Weinheim, a small town in Germany, as a leather tannery with just 50 employees. Today, it has grown to over 52,000 colleagues worldwide, pioneering technological advancements that shape our future.
