Balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements offer incredible insights into your business, if you know how to use them. You can see if you're generating a profit, how your business as a whole is performing, and learn a ton about operations costs. Every business should have them, but there's no shame if you need a little more help on when to use them and how to create them. Here is a primer on these three financial statements to get you started: *Balance Sheet - Tracks assets and liabilities and can be used to determine your company’s net worth at the moment *Income Statement - Focuses on revenue, expenses, gains, and losses to provide a tally of income and expenses during a set period *Cash Flow Statement - Tracks money going into and out of your business *The three financial statements are interdependent. Net income is a link between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, feeding into retained earnings and marking the starting point for the cash from operations section. If you need help with any of these, our financial advisors are ready to chat with you today. Drop us a comment, and we'll connect you.

For most of us, Morse code is not in our repertoire–one would need a decoder ring to translate the message. The FOMC meeting concluded this week, and investors intensely looked for clues on the Fed’s target date to start cutting interest rates. Whether you say “dots and dashes” or “dits and dahs,” it does not matter. The FOMC written statement tends to be more cryptic in nature as they resist providing definitive forward guidance. While we as individuals may be confounded by the Fed’s cryptogram, the market clearly decoded the message that interest rates will come down soon. Read more:

The most important part of any acceptance speech is thanking the people who got you here, and while we didn't win an award per se, we're still pretty proud of serving our community for 60 years and throwing Fremont's first-ever Block Party in celebration. 🙌 So thank you, our community, our neighbors, our clients, our friends, for showing up to celebrate this place we all call home and for helping us reach this massive milestone. And a special thank you to the City of Fremont for their partnership in making this the event of the year. If you haven't already, now's the time to come by and see us in our new flagship branch in downtown Fremont. https://bit.ly/3w4ACCb
