From start to near finish! Thanks to all the support from staff, donors, and the hardworking construction crew, we were able to build another new playground, this time at our Minneapolis location. We are so happy to be able to provide this new playground equipment to our clients, who are so deserving.

As part of our mission to increase sensory support for those who need it most, we will be sharing opportunities to donate sensory kits to local partner organizations. For our first partnership, we’re supporting the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery. The Crisis Nursery works to end abuse in the home and create healthy, strong families by offering free support services for children and parents in crisis. "Children with autism and disabilities sometimes wander away from their homes, outings or school. These incidents are known as eloping. Children may elope because of executive functioning differences that cause a lack of impulse control, a difference in social skills that makes them not understand “stranger danger” or becoming overwhelmed by sensory input, creating a fight or flight reaction."
