Ce personnage aussi effrayant qu’intriguant arpente les rues de Conakry pour sensibiliser, avec humour, à un enjeu crucial : la gestion des déchets. ♻️ A travers des théâtres de rue en soussou, langue locale, lui et d'autres personnages – comme une mère engagée pour un environnement propre ou un policier farceur – captivent les foules, et incitent à l’action. Enabel is proud to drive sustainable change in Kigoma, empowering local communities through transformative projects. Yesterday, Jean Van Wetter and #TeamBelgium, currently visiting Tanzania, had the chance to witness the positive impact these initiatives are bringing to the region. 🚧 Starting with the visit of the Bweru Bridge, built under the SAKIRP project, providing communities with access to markets, healthcare, and education. This bridge is one of the 115 we helped build in the region, blending traditional techniques with modern engineering. These stone-arch bridges costs 80% less than concrete ones and generate 50% fewer carbon emissions. This sustainable stone-arch design inspired similar projects across the region, aiming to connect even more communities. 💧 The Mwayaya Water Treatment Plant, that provides drinking water to 15,000 people -an essential foundation for healthier futures. Altogether, our program has provided access to water to more than 250,0000 people. 👩🏾🏭 In Kasulu, our Wezesha Binti program is breaking barriers, training young women in fields like automotive and carpentry. 🌍 Ce week-end, Enabel a eu l’honneur d’être partenaire officiel du JNDA - BRIDGE AFRICA (Journées Nationales des Diasporas et de l'Afrique)! Cet événement coorganisé par ANIMA Investment Network et le Club des Bâtisseurs , est une rencontre économique visant à connecter les pays africains et les diasporas en Europe.🤝🌐 Notre experte en mobilité, Raffaella Greco Tonegutti, a pris la parole pour évoquer le rôle essentiel des diasporas dans les opportunités économiques. Elle a présenté les approches et projets d’Enabel pour mobiliser et engager les diasporas, en particulier les ponts créés entre entrepreneur·e·s sénégalais·e·s, ivoirien·ne·s et européen·ne·s grâce à nos projets PEM (Pilote for Entrepreneurial Mobility).
