In response to God’s Word, we embrace and nurture vulnerable children and families by providing homes, healing and hope.
About us
Since 1890, we’ve stood in the gap for the most vulnerable of children. We provide homes, healing and hope to children needing a safe haven from neglect, abuse or abandonment. While children are our first priority, in many cases we also work with their biological families to address harmful behavior that has either broken them or could break them apart. While our programs are diverse, they all share a single focus of ensuring vulnerable children are able to grow up in a safe, loving home.

The Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention, also known as The Children's Trust Fund, recently held check presentations in Mobile (representing Congressional District 1) and Montgomery (representing Congressional Districts 2, 3, 4 and 5). These presentations highlighted the vital work being conducted by agencies funded through the Children’s Trust Fund, including the Embrace Parent Education and Support Program in Mobile and the Embrace Family Support Program based in Andalusia. Over 85% of Children’s Trust Fund dollars go directly to fund programs that work to prevent child abuse and neglect. This year, consider donating all or part of your State of Alabama tax refund to the Children’s Trust Fund, which supports Embrace Alabama Kids’ Babies First and Family Support Programs. https://ctf.alabama.gov/ #EmbraceALKids
