They are renowned for having exceptional therapy programs, and have consistently been a top performer in the company and industry. They've overcome significant challenges in the past few years, and have been making big strides to get back to the top as an industry leader. They recently had a great survey, resulting in an increase to their CMS star rating. They've also prioritized innovating patient care through new programs and initiatives. We were proud to recognize and celebrate with this team today, and excited to help them reclaim their spot at the top! #redefininghealthcare

We called him out, and he delivered! Jeffrey Gertsch led a team retreat in Utah yesterday with a group of administrators, AITs, and corporate resources, and did not disappoint! After spending the day in our corporate office on education, they took to the paintball arena! This team can throw down! No fear of pain, just focused on the win. Who wants to take them on next time???

We don’t mean to brag, but Team Maverick hosted one of the best meeting/retreats we’ve seen at Eduro. Two days jam-packed with training and fun, giving our administrators and corporate resources time to grow and bond together. Tough to beat the presentations put on by this team, but probably even tougher to top the food, bowling, go karts, laser tag, studio movie grill, and all the other fun we had together! "I used to be an agency worker at another Eduro facility. I really liked it, and when I saw an opening here, I took the job. I love my administrator, especially how she treats all the workers here. She treats them all like equals, and she's so down to earth. I work on the second floor where we take care of some psychiatric patients. It's not easy--sometimes they can get combative and try to hit you. You just have to be patient and show compassion towards them, even though sometimes I have to hold them back. But you always have to show love. Right now, you are the only one they have. You're like their brother or sister, so you have to take care of them and they need to be comfortable with you." -Arnold, CNA

Welcome Brett Johnson! Brett is thrilled to join Eduro Healthcare as the new Director of Human Resources. He has worked in healthcare HR for 20 years with companies like HCA, Sutter Health, and Supplemental Health Care. Brett is passionate about providing a culture that can drive results. His goal is to lead an HR department that focuses on process improvement, employee engagement, talent management, and employee development. Brett lives in Kaysville Utah with his wife and four children. They enjoy camping, snow skiing, and boating.

"I always wanted to be a nurse. So I started as a CNA, got that done. Then I went to the next step, became a med aid. But then, I saw just how hard the nurses work. They have to dot their I's, cross their T's... they have to call doctors, family members, so much. I thought, 'Ehh no.' In my mind, I thought they just got to take care of residents, which is my favorite part. So I've stayed in this role because I love the 1-on-1 time that I get with the residents. I get to know them more, and they miss me whenever I'm gone!" -Lupe, Med Aid

We're excited to announce our new Corporate Controller, Jordan Lopez! Jordan comes to us with 17 years of progressive finance and accounting experience in a variety of industries, starting with public-accounting firm Deloitte where he worked with several public and private companies. Since then, Jordan has filled positions as Senior Accountant, Controller, and VP of Finance and is excited to be contributing his experience to our team. Welcome, Jordan!
