Honored to share that last week, Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) received the North Star award from Education Forward Arizona, recognizing our impact in education. This award holds special meaning because our journey began with the vision of acting as a unified whole, bringing impactful changes over the years—including increased wages and safety standards for farmworkers, and access to college-prep curriculum for high school students of color. It was also wonderful to hear Dina de León, an amazing CPLC board member, share her story and the impact Education Forward had on her. Decades later, our commitment to empowering communities and expanding educational access remains as strong as ever.
