How far would you go to service your customer ? Yesterday myself and one of our warehouse crew packed 50 trauma bags, from unboxing the bags themselves to double checking each bag to make sure nothing falls out if it tips over. We’ve done this 5 times in 3 months. Doing this alone takes 6+ hours ( ask me how I know ) and with help can take up to 3. Everytime a PO shows up I think about outsourcing this process because it would save me time and a couple of blisters haha, but then I stop and think about why we continue to get these orders. Because at the end of the day , we know the product better then even the customer themselves , we know the process of packing these bags well enough the customer can ship them to offshore sites and middle of nowhere projects. We took the time to understand their needs and care about their employees as much as they do. Thats why I became a safety sales professional .. to care about others #DXPeople #gettingthejobdone
