It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tom Tracy at age 72. Tom was the third oldest son of our founders, Robert (RT) and Dorothy Tracy. He worked at Dot Foods for nearly 40 years and sat on our Board of Directors for 25 years. It’s thanks to him that our company uses computers. He joined Dot in 1978 to help get our first computers established before working as our accounting manager. Tom’s legacy is still felt to this day at Dot. He will be greatly missed, and we join the Tracy family in mourning his death and celebrating his life.

Sterling, Illinois, Dot now delivers to all 50 states and over 50 countries. Dot employs more than 4,000 individuals and hasn't had a single layoff in all our history. Our corporate headquarters is still located in Mt. Sterling, but we also have 13 distribution centers in the U.S.; a corporate sales office in St. Louis, Missouri; two locations in Canada; and a joint venture in Mexico.
