Look at the renderings below. What does the surrounding landscape tell you about the design of the buildings visualized in each image? We use design visualization software to help our clients understand how a proposed design will fit into the surrounding landscape. We may present a night time visualization of a mixed-use community to highlight levels of activity, or we may present a wide view of a building in the heart of downtown to highlight how the project fits into the visual landscape of that neighborhood. We carefully consider the goals of the project and client and present a visual context for the project that will communicate the success of the proposed design. #DesignVisualization #ArchitectureInProgress

Our El Paso office has been open for over a year now, but we recently held an open house to welcome everyone in and strengthen our connections with the El Paso community. Our Principals from all three offices were in attendance, as well as local community leaders, industry professionals, and clients. Everyone had a great time connecting and seeing the new office in downtown El Paso! #EPTX #ElPasoStrong #ArchitectureInProgress

Designing communities starts with planning sites that reduce the reliance on cars by designing housing in close proximity to commercial and retail spaces, and reducing the reliance on cars by connecting to alternate forms of transit. We can't wait to see Calle Cuarta and Cerca blossom into a thriving community! #MixedUse #BuildMoreHousing #EconomicDevelopment

    Founder/President/CEO | Yes Housing, Inc.

The Calle Cuarta and Cerca infill development in the Near North Valley exemplifies sustainable urbanism principles by focusing on density, diversity, and connectivity in urban design. Yes Housing, Inc.'s initiative repurposes vacant lots and an outdated structure on 4th Street between Fitzgerald and Mildred NW, optimizing land use, curbing urban sprawl, and reducing environmental impacts linked to new construction. Spanning nearly 8 acres, this project incorporates a variety of uses, including: - Mixed-Use Spaces: Blending residential, commercial, and retail areas in a unified development fostering a vibrant urban setting where residents can live, work, and socialize closely. This setup diminishes reliance on cars, encouraging social interactions. - Transit-Oriented Developments (TODs): Strategically located near public transportation hubs, the development promotes access to diverse transit options. By linking to bike paths, pedestrian trails, and bus stops, it aims to reduce car dependency and support alternative mobility choices. - Adaptive Reuse: The project's focus on adaptive reuse involves transforming old structures like the vacant Southern Tire Mart and industrial tire warehouse into a cultural center, creative workspaces, residential live/work units, and 21 townhomes. This approach not only preserves the historical essence of the North Valley neighborhoods but also drives economic revitalization and conserves cultural heritage. #Infilldevelopment #adaptivereuse #cabq #mra #affordablehousing #economicdevelopment #bernco #nmhousingfirst #mixeduse #mixedincome #yeshousinginc #pavilion #dekker #ReSolut
