Exciting times at Firestorm! We’re thrilled to see the incredible advancements they’re making in defense technology. Their recent participation in the T-REX 24-2 event showcased the impressive capabilities of the Tempest drones, executing autonomous missions with remarkable precision and minimal human intervention. The coordinated flight of two Tempest drones—one for ISR and the other for loitering munition missions—marks a significant milestone for the team. We can’t wait to see what they’ll showcase at JIFX this November at Camp Roberts. Keep pushing the boundaries!
Firestorm has made remarkable strides in pushing the boundaries of defense technology, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s on the horizon. We recently successfully participated in the T-REX 24-2 event, where our Tempest drones executed autonomous missions with minimal human intervention, from takeoff to landing. For the first time, we flew two Tempest drones in a coordinated mission—one conducting ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) and the other performing a loitering munition mission. The T-REX event was instrumental in validating technical maturation, and our drones demonstrated their capability as modular, rapidly deployable systems that seamlessly integrate with joint assets. We also demonstrated our flexibility at Silent Swarm by integrating the external customer's payload into our aircraft systems rapidly and executing multi-agent missions, all while showcasing the adaptability of our systems at high altitudes. We're excited to return to JIFX this November at Camp Roberts, where we’ll be showcasing our cutting-edge aerial vehicles once again. Thank you to the entire Firestorm team for the tireless effort recently!
