Our Belmont Bison Marching Band placed 2nd in the 40th Circle City Classic! 🌟 The band traveled to Indianapolis to perform and compete in a parade and football game that featured several HBCUs and other groups. Congrats on another amazing award! 💙

One week ago, the Dayton Board of Education hosted a Legislative Breakfast in an effort to bring community leaders together for important conversations relating to Dayton Public Schools. Discussions included the Academic Action Plan, a Youth Violence Prevention Program, Federal/State Educational funding, how the city, county, and DPS can support one another and collaborate on issues, and future legislative priorities for education.

This afternoon was the first of 2 Community Meetings today! Dr. Lawrence and Mayor Mims met with parents and community members to discuss college and career readiness, academic updates, how to improve the future of children in Dayton, and more! The 2nd meeting is tonight at Stivers School for the Arts at 6 PM. Food will be provided. We hope to see you there!
