“We want to send a strong message to everyone, particularly those in Florida—and across the country—who may feel their needs and identities are being sidelined, to know that in Connecticut, you will always find acceptance” said Anthony M. Anthony, Chief Marketing Officer for the State of Connecticut. “Here, diversity is celebrated, and we remain committed to ensuring everyone who visits or lives here feels valued, respected, free to be yourself.” Connecticut is where anyone can make their home, career, and travel as a welcome addition to our small and inclusive state. About us
Dream, design, shape, repeat. That’s what we do in Connecticut. We invent. We build. Even if we’re just making happy lives. We’re makers. It’s why we came here, and why we’re here for good. We make everything from high-tech helicopters and jet engines to the nation's best pizza. We're hard at work on scientific breakthroughs in medicine and aerospace even as we speak. Even if you're not a maker in the traditional sense, think again, because you are. Teachers and homemakers are crucial to Connecticut because the most important "thing" we make is our people. They're our competitive advantage. That's why we invest billions in our schools, our communities, and their safety. Connecticut is one of the best places on the planet for building a family, a business, or living out a dream. So let’s keep dreaming, designing, shaping, and repeating up a storm until we come up with something incredible yet again. What will you make next? Connecticut. Make it here.

Proud to spend the day in Oxford with the Governor as we continue to support their recovery from these horrific floods. $1m raised that day which is incredible. More support coming!

What happens when you take Hartford’s beloved Yard Goats and make them the Connecticut Yard Goats for a day? You show the power of partnerships by doing good for good! ⚾️🎉
Transforming Hartford Yard Goats Baseball, our hometown team, into our home state team as the Connecticut Yard Goats for a game is the outside of the box collaboration that gets me excited. It’s just another way of achieving our mission in the Office of Statewide Marketing & Tourism of building a brand, identity, and greater state pride here in CT. Despite some curveballs along the way, our partners with the Yard Goats knocked it out of the park. Not only did the team’s 5,000 fans have a good time at the park, we raised more than anticipated for Connecticut Foodshare by auctioning off a one of a kind Connecticut Yard Goats jersey and hat signed by Governor Ned Lamont. A huge thank you to Tim Restall and Steve Given for making this happen. #Connecticut #MakeItHere #Baseball #NoGoatsNoGlory

💪Teamwork makes the dream work.
Governor Ned Lamont called me out today. In jest, of course, but he said, "Anthony, you're making my life tough. I'm the guy who's trying to create regional cooperation with my fellow governors." This came right after we unveiled Connecticut's four new highway welcome signs, each one playfully poking at our neighboring states for what they hold dear. And you know what? He’s right. I can’t wait to see Governor Murphy (NJ), Governor Hochul (NY), and Governor Healy (MA) tweet back at us about it. That just means we’ve done our job—Connecticut has become the conversation and we know we've hit the mark. It’s not just about the signs. The magic happens when we work closely with incredible partners—public agencies and orgs like the Connecticut Department of Transportation the University of Connecticut, or businesses small and large, from our independent restaurants to major players like General Dynamics Electric Boat, the Connecticut Restaurant Association, or seCTer: Southeastern CT Enterprise Region. When we come together, we’re not just marketing a state; we’re building a community. And as Governor Lamont emphasized today, this spirit of collaboration is key and we need to start in our state. The stronger our cooperation within Connecticut, the more we all win. After all, that’s how we make it here. #Connecticut #MakeItHere #Partnerships #Collaboration #Welcome
