Numbers that big can feel overwhelming—what can be done about such an incredibly massive problem? That's why today (and every day) it's important to remember that humans can't be reduced to numbers.     Our SFO Retail store sponsored the SF Hunt this year. For those unfamiliar with the event, it is a "Questival like event" that brings people together to romp around SF solving challenging riddles, completing hilarious challenges, and celebrating 10 years creating amazing experiences in San Francisco. There were 400+ participants in the event and we had so much fun being apart of this incredible experience.

    Today we celebrate the incredible work Ambassador Mario Ordonez-Calderon is doing for the environment and his continued dedication to making notable change. "Today, the top 10 Most Endangered Rivers list was released by American Rivers and we are proud to announce that our partnership with The Surfrider Foundation has helped support the designation of the Tijuana River in the 2024 Most Endangered River list.It is a nuanced designation to celebrate, while we proud to nationally amplify the fight for clean water, the significance of the Tijuana River to the community, and the array of environmental injustices that threaten it, we remain saddened that it is only a small step in addressing this decade long violation of the clean water act. We celebrate today but are continuously committed to protecting our environment so that future generations of students from the South Bay can connect with the healing powers of their local waterways.Thank you to all the community members, organizations, government representatives, citizens on both sides of the border, the Kumeyaay Nation, and all other parties who have been advocating long before us. We hope this designation aids and supplements your critical work. And a special thanks to my partner on this project, Sarah Davidson of SurfRiders Clean Border Water Now program.     We are beyond excited for the premiere of our short film ‘Don’t Doubt The Trout’ debuting tonight at @5pointfilm, directed by Isabela Zawistowska and starring rock duo and conservationists Bernard and Rebecca. Bernard and Rebecca of the band, Par Avion, are not your average surf rock musicians. They’re passionate fly-fishing anglers and conservationists who are advocating for the protection of California’s endangered Southern Steelhead. The 5 Point Adventure Film Festival is dedicated to building community and inspire change by showcasing and celebrating impactful stories of adventure. Dedicated to uplifting diverse storytellers and stories that allow us to better understand the world around us.

    Good Deeds Day (Apr 14) is a global movement dedicated to doing good. We joined millions of people and thousands of organizations from 108+ countries to volunteer and #DoGood, as well as the good people at GoodPop who helped spread awareness about this day in the U.S. We participated by sending a crew of volunteers from our distribution center to make sandwiches and coleslaw for the residents of Salt Lake City's Center for Women and Children. We also joined our friends at Kodiak Cakes at Wasatch High School in Heber, UT, where we gave away some Gear For Good, while Kodiak served up a nutritious breakfast.
