Last week, Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience’s neurosurgery team, led by Islam Fayed, MD, a Minimally Invasive & Complex Spine Surgery specialist, performed their first spine surgery at the new Cooper Outpatient Surgery Center in Moorestown. The team of neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, and specially trained operating room staff completed a minimally invasive spinal surgery using specialized equipment in the brand-new OR. This provides a seamless experience for patients with an easy to access same day surgery process. Congratulations to the neurosurgery and ambulatory surgery teams on another milestone as Cooper continues to expand services at our largest outpatient facility located at the Moorestown Mall. The Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience Institute is fully dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and neurosurgical issues. The partnership improves local access to a comprehensive range of advanced neuroscience care, including surgical and nonsurgical services related to the brain, spinal cord, and central nervous system.
