This month’s employee spotlight is Julie Dries, who serves as Manager of Development Accounting at Conifer. Julie joined the Conifer team in December 2014 and has since served as Senior Development Accountant and Supervisor of Development Accounting later being promoted to her current position. Julie has offered tremendous time, effort, and dedication to every role she has played for Conifer, continuously demonstrating what it means to be a dependable employee. Julie believes effective collaboration to be a driver of success and enjoys working closely with her team to make things happen. Julie says, “Working in affordable housing has allowed me to recognize that my individual efforts contribute to a larger, collective purpose and that my role, no matter how seemingly small, is integral to the success of the overall mission of Conifer. It’s a reminder that while personal achievements are valuable, we wouldn’t be able to provide housing and jobs for those in the communities we support without the collaborative efforts of all employees at Conifer.” Throughout her time at Conifer, Julie has never failed to tackle challenges with positivity and determination. Julie is an outstanding example of a teammate, employee, and role model for those who work with her.
