STAX: SOULSVILLE U.S.A. has been nominated for an EMMY Award in the “Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series” category! 📺 Among those up for the award are our very own Michele Smith (Craft) and Sophia Dilley (Concord Originals) who served as Executive Producers. And, of course, a very big congratulations to all involved, including Deanie Parker, Al Bell, and the amazing artists and songwriters of Stax, HBO, HBO Max, Laylow Pictures, White Horse Pictures, Polygram Entertainment, Warner Music Entertainment, and of course, our Stax and Concord Originals team. Thanks to the #Emmys / Television Academy and to everyone who’s watched, listened, and followed along so far – Let’s keep celebrating that iconic #Stax sound!
