We had a wonderful day earlier this week at the Aspiro blood drive in Green Bay! By joining together, both Aspiro and CBC have been able to spread more awareness about the important work we both do and make a lifesaving impact in the community. Not to mention, we had some pretty awesome t-shirts to give out to donors! Thank you to Aspiro and the Green Bay community for being a part of our mission!

After a drive like Hodag MASH, CBC's QC lab team is busy processing red blood cells and platelets from donors. They're doing quality checks and additional safety testing. We wanted to highlight these hard-working team members and thank them for the important role they play in ensuring the best blood type matches for patients across the over 40 hospital partners we serve in the community. And a big thank you to everyone—staff, donors, and volunteers—who made the Hodag MASH event such a success last week!

We've had an awesome start to our 2024 MASH season! And the good news?! We still have THREE more to go! Up next, we're off to visit the northwoods for Hodag MASH in Rhinelander. Following Rhinelander we will be in Merrill and last, but not least, our first Wausau MASH to wrap up the season. CODE RED: Over the weekend, community hospitals faced a need for large quantities of blood due to motor vehicle accidents. Over 200 blood products were transfused, severely depleting our local blood reserves. We need your help as we work diligently to ensure blood is available for local patients. The need for blood doesn't take a holiday! As we enter into the week of July 4th, we are reminding community members of the importance of blood donation, especially in the summer months. While we all get busy with summer fun, patients still rely on blood transfusions. Summer often means an increase in recreational traumas and injuries. Patients need you.
