Founder and CEO at Clearbrief.ai (2023 Litigation Product of the Year, 2022 New Law Company of the Year, Legalweek)
Did you know that Snoop Dogg performed at a legaltech conference? Yep. It's the least stuffy legal conference I've heard about, and I am so excited to be a speaker this year! It's called Law-Di-Gras, and it's bringing together the top personal injury law firms along with medical experts to share insights on, among other topics, how AI is changing how litigators handle the vast amounts of medical data at issue in these cases. Join me in the two sessions I'm speaking at tomorrow (Friday, October 24): 10-11 AM - Aragon Ballroom IC: Case Management and AI – Learn how AI can streamline workflows and drive efficiency in your practice. 2:30-3:30 PM - Aragon Ballroom IC: AI Benefits for Solo and Small Practices – Discover how even the smallest firms can leverage AI to stay competitive and serve clients more effectively. No word yet on whether Snoop is attending again, but I love how they've planned multiple incredible concerts in the evenings! What's the best concert you've attended as part of a legal conference? #LawDiGras #LegalTech #AI #Law #LegalInnovation Clearbrief.ai The Simon Law Group

In our conversations with in-house leaders, we're seeing an increased focus on making internal investigations more efficient and more valuable for decision-making. Clearbrief CEO @jacqueline Schafer sat down with @Justin Bachman from @Legal Dive to discuss how AI is making an impact already in this space. “When it comes to in-house legal departments, for years their main task has been contract lifecycle management, and there’s a lot of other areas where legal ops can add value, and one of those main areas has to do with pre-litigation – avoiding litigation. That includes compliance. That includes internal investigations. That includes responding to nasty letters that you get from government agencies or attorneys. That’s where our customers are really focusing. They’re using Clearbrief for that pre-litigation sort of daily work so they can avoid the really costly, expensive lawsuit that happens down the line. And when they do have a lawsuit, then their goal becomes, how do we collaborate better with our outside counsel? How do we keep costs reasonable for these matters? How do we get to a resolution so that this doesn’t drag on forever? Those are all areas that are really fruitful for generative AI tools like Clearbrief, and that’s really where our focus now is starting to expand. We’ve been working with several in-house legal teams at the largest global corporations over the last year and a half: bespoke solutions for in-house that use generative AI just for those items that they want to handle internally.
