A little love for the SW Las #Vegas Valley town of Enterprise in #ClarkCounty. Fortune Magazine has named it one of the "Best Places to Live for Families." Enterprise ranked 49 on Fortune's evaluation of more than 2,000 cities. The article discusses the two master-planned communities of Mountain's Edge and Southern Highlands and the benefits and amenities available in these family friendly areas. The article wraps up by saying Enterprise is expected to continue to grow with more residential projects, as well as the planned construction of the Brightline train station for the high-speed line between from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.

Residents who want to ensure they take the right steps to protect themselves when purchasing solar panels, swimming pools, or who to hire for home repair projects may want to attend or watch remotely a free tele-town hall meeting with the Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) and Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick. The meeting will be held Tuesday, July 30, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center Commission Chambers at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway in downtown Las Vegas. Those who attend the event in person will be eligible to take part in a raffle for three $100 gift cards to Home Depot. Those unable to attend in person may tune in to watch it live on the County’s YouTube channel, Facebook page and Clark County Television (CCTV). An increase in scams and workmanship issues prompted the NSCB to create a specialized solar investigative unit. Board staff say it’s important that residents ensure contractors are licensed and complaint-free and to know your contractual rights. Homeowners have three days to cancel a solar contract under Nevada law. They also suggest confirming rebates, credits and savings with a third-party. To file a complaint with the Contractors Board, please click here or visit https://lnkd.in/gWntwAGW.
