This week on the Meet the Teams series, meet Mickey Stout our dynamic Director of Marketing! What do you enjoy most about working at Claremont? "Not only do I get to work at such a beautiful and historical place, I get to do it with such amazing people. In Marketing, I get to touch so many aspects of the business. I get to work with each department and offer any support that I can. And I have to say, I work with some of the best in class! The level of knowledge and expertise in this building is incredible. We get the privilege to turn moments into memories here for our guest and members, I feel so blessed to be a part of the team!" What memory stands out the most during your time at Claremont? "I have so many memories from my time at the Claremont. But one that I will always carry with me is that I recently rejoined the team here after being gone for 11 years. I was a bit nervous at first because change is hard for me. The second I walked into the building I was greeted with so much love, laughter and tears! To have SO MANY PEOPLE in all different departments remember me after more than a decade was so touching, and to have such a warm welcome back just reassured me that I made the right decision and that I was “home”. Our Meet the Team series is back! Meet Danielle LaPointe, Director of Labor Relations in our Talent & Culture Department. What is your favorite part about working at Claremont? "Every day working in Hospitality is exciting, and that’s not exception here at the Claremont Club. Seeing all of the incredible work our colleagues put into their roles each is inspiring. I’m blown away by the amount of tenure, experience, and passion within these walls, and I consider myself very lucky to learn from the people here every day." What is your favorite memory at Claremont? "Our colleague celebrations stand out as some of my favorite moments. Taking a step away from the buzz of the operation and having some fun with the team is easily one of the most enjoyable and rewarding parts of my job. I had a blast celebrating the hardworking families of the Club on Mother’s Day, recognizing milestone work anniversaries at our last Recognition Event, and scooping ice cream for team members on Memorial Day, among many other amazing events we’ve held this year!" #InTheHills #ClaremontHotel #MeetTheTeam

"Our great colleagues are undoubtedly the best part of working at Claremont. I recall the first day I came in for the interview. I was fascinated by the panoramas and the colleagues' smiles; everyone looked so happy and ready to help. Every colleague, no matter their age, exhibits joy and pride in working here." What is your favorite memory at Claremont? "As a member of the Talent and Culture department, I frequently interact with our 495 colleagues who share their successes with us. Every day I come to work, something special happens; it warms my heart to welcome a new colleague to the team, to celebrate a promotion, or to announce a raffle winner. "It's the people that make it extraordinary. The relationships I've formed with colleagues, members, and guests are what I cherish the most. I like to think my office spans the entire Club at the Claremont, providing an inspiring setting to create and grow these connections." What is your favorite memory at Claremont? "My favorite memory at the Claremont predates my employment here. My wife (then fiancé) and I received a Spa and Stay package with dinner. It was an unforgettable experience—everything from the spa to the food and service was exceptional. As hospitality professionals, we were impressed and thought, "What a great place this would be to work."
