Engaging proactively with the youth can create big impacts! Virginia Beach Police Department created the Youth Services Unit to protect the youth, build relationships and help them stay on the right path. VBPD Lt. Kevin Lokey has led the Youth Services Unit since its inception in January 2023, and since then he and his team have created more than 20 initiatives, programs and opportunities fostering healthy relationships with them and their families.
