Thank you, Eddy Benoit Jr., for highlighting this critical discussion! Mayor Paul Young’s commitment to mixed-income communities is a cornerstone of our city’s growth strategy. President & CEO at The Benoit Group, LLC

Memphis Mayor Paul Young highlights the importance of mixed-income communities for neighborhood revitalization. He reminisces about South Memphis, where diverse income levels once supported a thriving commercial environment. Rebuilding such communities today means ensuring inclusivity and preventing the displacement of legacy residents. The Benoit Group models this by developing affordable workforce housing within mixed-use communities, complete with essential amenities. Successful public-private partnerships require municipalities to listen to developers and update outdated policies. This collaboration enables innovative solutions that can transform and uplift communities effectively. Subscribe and view the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/e3dr_A_i
