    July 4 is coming fast, and we are excited to once again partner with the Colorado Rapids for another 4thFEST!   Join us for a FREE family festival featuring tons of family activities, music, and food for purchase outside Dick's Sporting Goods Park starting at 5 p.m., with a huge fireworks display after the game.   New for this year is a special ticket link for Commerce City residents to watch the Rapids take on Sporting Kansas City.     The Juneteenth flag is flying high in Commerce City🖤   Leading up to June 19, we honor the legacy of so many Black residents who have contributed endlessly to the tapestry of diversity in Commerce City.   We are reminded that the struggle for equality and justice persists.

    We're proud to announce that Garrett Anderson is joining the team as the city's Economic Development Director!    He brings over 15 years of experience to Commerce City, including nine years in the Chicago area as the economic development director in Woodstock, Ill. In that role, he directed downtown revitalization efforts, workforce development partnerships, and the application of incentives including Tax Increment Finance, Enterprise Zone, and Revolving Loan Fund.   Learn more here: bit.ly/3VbWp3m   We're excited to have Garrett join the team!
