  • If you've ever visited the Beavercreek Senior Center, you probably recognize our amazing volunteer, Carolyn Klaus, who was recently featured in an article by Dayton Daily News! Carolyn's passion for volunteering shines through in everything she does. “My volunteer activities involve learning new things almost every day,” said Carolyn. “It makes me feel like I am still useful and can contribute in a meaningful way. After I have completed a volunteer shift, I am happier, almost exhilarated, even when the tasks have been challenging. Volunteering makes my heart ‘sing.’” We are incredibly grateful for all the hours Carolyn has dedicated to the Senior Center. The City of Beavercreek offers various volunteer opportunities for all ages and interests.
