For the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, CEVA Logistics is responsible for the transport and storage of special sports equipment for the athletes. With 3 logistics sites based in the Olympic Village and 15 Paralympic delivery sites, CEVA Logistics is transporting more than 4,600 athletes’ luggage, sports equipment, and wheelchairs. More than 700 deliveries will be made, and 49 vehicles will be entirely dedicated to this task. -- Pour les Jeux Paralympiques de Paris 2024, CEVA Logistics assure le transport et le stockage des équipements sportifs spéciaux pour les athlètes. Avec 3 sites logistiques basés sur le village Olympique et 15 sites de livraison Paralympiques, ce sont plus de 4 600 bagages d'athlètes, équipements sportifs et fauteuils roulants que CEVA Logistics transporte. Marc Alexandre, in charge of special projects at CEVA Logistics for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, gives us the keys to logistical success: communication and coordination. This logistical excellence is particularly in evidence in the transport of luggage and sports equipment on the arrival and departure of athletes, thanks to optimal coordination with @Groupe ADP. In total, CEVA Logistics has managed five special projects during Paris 2024, including the transport of weapons and ammunition, athletes' luggage and sports equipment, equipment for football and handball, as well as the flow of surfboards to Tahiti.
