Today, California Attorney General Rob Bonta joined Lou Diamond Phillips at Climate Group’s Climate Week NYC to announce a first-of-its kind lawsuit to hold ExxonMobil accountable for misleading the public on plastic’s recyclability. ExxonMobil peddled recycling lies to further its recording-breaking profits at the expense of our planet and communities. California DOJ is holding ExxonMobil accountable.

Social media can provide many incredible benefits — from connecting loved ones to giving people an outlet to express themselves to providing access to information and creating jobs in our state. At the same time, we have seen that social media companies do not always live up to the best of their potential — and that can pose a threat to us all. Read the California DOJ Weekly Update to learn more about our work to ensure social media works better for everyone. https://lnkd.in/gpVFdzBw
