The Blackberry Foundation is honored to work with Special Growers, a Blount County nonprofit job training program. They grow herbs for Blackberry Farm’s restaurants, and other local establishments, and this Summer they used their green thumbs to add some seasonal color to our local airport, McGhee Tyson Airport! If you’re flying into TYS this Summer, look for the flowers in the airport’s water feature. If you visit Blackberry, you can thank Special Growers for some of the fresh herbs on your plate!
