Department Spotlight!   Our Controls Engineering department focuses on the design and implementation of control systems for various types of automation equipment. They conduct the design of all electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic energy systems as well as constructing the programming code to run them. Their responsibilities include developing and debugging PLC logic, HMI functionality, and background services as well as safety, drive, and robotic systems. Additionally, the Controls Engineering department performs feasibility studies using robotic simulation to ensure the equipment is designed and programmed to avoid tooling crashes and to increase efficiency.   At Axis Automation, our Controls Engineers are an important asset throughout the life cycle of a project as they help bring each machine to life. With their adaptable and creative mindset, they are able to quickly find solutions if problems arise while ensuring excellent communication with each member of the Axis team.
