At its micro-pilot facility in Runcorn, UK, Avioxx is using AVEVA InTouch 2023 and KEPServerEX to create a fully centralized, AI-driven control system for synthetic fuel production. With over 1,000 live data tags and millions of datapoints processed in real time, the system enables predictive insights, remote diagnostics, and seamless global demonstrations - all from a single interface. This kind of digital-first infrastructure is key to scaling SAF production efficiently and transparently. As Europe’s 2% SAF mandate comes into force, innovations like these will be essential to meeting demand and driving the transition to #netzero #aviation. But to paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of its demise have been greatly exaggerated. In nearly all corners of the globe, the move to renewables and clean energy infrastructure is accelerating. Maybe even in some places you wouldn’t expect… But we’re not tackling emissions nearly fast enough. There’s still so much to do. And software is going to play a key role. 🌍 We’re honored to be named to CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) A-list for the 2024 disclosure cycle. CDP SEA assesses how well companies are engaging with their suppliers to manage the risks and impacts of climate change, based on answers in the CDP climate change questionnaire. In recent years, AVEVA has prioritized working closely with suppliers to build capacity for tackling climate change and advancing shared sustainability goals. Through meaningful engagement, regular communication and education of our own internal workforce, and continuously assessing our policies and practices to ensure we're moving towards best practice, we have successfully engaged 83% of our suppliers on our Responsible Sourcing Program in 2024. Moving forward we hope to continue this engagement and explore how we can support suppliers in taking the next steps in their journey.
