Eligible organizations within our service areas are encouraged to apply by November 22. Since 2016, we’ve awarded over $640,000 to support critical #wildlife care and #habitat protection. Let’s continue making a positive impact together! “This program has grown year over year and we’re proud we’ve been able make an impact and assist organizations providing critical care and protection to wildlife and habitats in the communities we serve,” said Pablo Colón, Executive Director, Avangrid Foundation & Director of Corporate Citizenship at Avangrid. “Last year was a record-breaking year for this program and the funds were used to combat the Avian Influenza, stranded seal recovery, build new shelters, purchase nutritious food and much more. ATTN Start-ups! The Iberdrola PERSEO start-up program has launched its newest challenge, and is now accepting applications through December 1. The challenge? How to make wind measurement in operating wind farms more efficient. The focus is on flexible and efficiently deployed devices that can optimize a measurement campaign in target turbines. The prize? The prize will consist of a test agreement with PERSEO or another Iberdrola company covering the cost of a test at an onshore facility in Spain, including all necessary technical assistance.
