ReCreateIt, in partnership with Re3D and Austin Habitat for Humanity, is launching an initiative to transform plastic waste into sustainable home goods through community-led manufacturing. Supported by the National Science Foundation and CSIRO, the project aims to divert 10,000 pounds of plastic waste from landfills, train ReStore employees, and engage the community in innovative recycling and sustainability practices.
