Since its establishment in 1971, our architectural firm is known for providing effective and creative designs for our clients. This focus made possible our success and consistent growth over the past 42 years. Today, Aufgang enjoys a reputation for imaginative designs in response to the changing demands of our clients in the commercial real estate development industry. The Bronx Grove Apartments at 261 East 202nd St. and 270 East 203rd St. are nearing completion. These two buildings will have 323 units total, a combination of affordable housing and supportive housing. Supportive programs coordinated by CAMBA include youth development, economic development, and nutrition workshops. Residents have access to large training kitchens and tenant gardens. Aufgang's Park Lane Senior Apartments at 1940 Turnbull Ave in the Bronx was recently featured on YIMBY. The housing lottery is now open for households with at least one member 62 years of age or older. The 14 story building offers 154 residences, 53 of which are reserved for residents at 50% AMI. The building offers in-unit intercoms to call for resident supportive services. The landscaping around Building A1 at Edgemere Commons is receiving the finishing touches. This 17-story building has 194 affordable housing units and commercial space on the ground floor for a grocery store. The location was the site of the former Peninsula Hospital and completed a major rezoning in a partnership with Aufgang, The Arker Companies, and Slate Property Group. Eight West, an affiliate of The Hakimian Organization, has secured a $175 million construction loan for SOLA, a 364-unit luxury development in Queens. The Aufgang-designed building has studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans with in-unit washers and driers. 30 percent of the units are designated for workforce housing.
